Vila se afla in apropierea centrului localitatii. Se afla la numai 100 m de la drumul principal Miercurea Ciuc - Gheorgheni. In casa sunt 4 camere, bucatarie, sufragerie, terasa, 3 grupuri sanitare. Curtea asigura loc de parcare pentru 4 autoturisme. Casa oferta o priveliste superba a partiei de schi.

Izvorul Mureşului este o localitate montană la poalele Hăşmaşului Mare (1793 m), pe versantul sudic al Muntelui Negru (1538 m) staţiune recreativă ce şi-a primit numele de la izvoarele râului Mureş, aflate pe teritoriul localităţii. Pe DN 12 se află la 45 km de Miercurea-Ciuc şi 23 km de Gheorgheni, la cumpăna apelor dintre bazinul hidrografic al Mureşului şi Oltului.
" La poalele munţilor Hăşmaş, acolo unde cei doi fraţi, Mureşul şi Oltul, au hotărât să spintece Tansilvania apucând-o pe cărări diferite, pe o şa de drum se întinde Mănăstirea Izvorul Muresului. Mănăstire a zilelor noastre, construită cu tehnici moderne în stil muntenesc tradiţional, prin purtarea de grijă a ctitorului PS Ioan Selejan, episcopul Harghitei şi Covasnei şi prin strădaniile maicii stareţe Miriam. Înconjurată de un zid înalt de piatră gri, mănăstirea găzduieşte un spatiu generos în care se peird parcă cele câteva clădiri. Chiar la intrare, la marginea şoselei, eşti întâmpinat de un turn al porţii masiv şi de o troiţă de lemn galben sculptat ca o santinelă. O poteca pietruită lungă duce la bierica cochetă albă cu o singură turlă ridicată deasupra naosului. Intrarea în biserică se face printr-un antreu deschis, pictat, sprijint pe piloni si cu arcade brâncoveneşti. Pictura bisericii este realistă, destul de austeră, cu un desen rotund bineconturat, predominând nuanţele de gri şi bej."
Izvorul râului Mureş se găseşte pe versantul sudic al Muntelui Negru. Locul din centrul satului, nu departe de şosea, la vest de aceasta, la poalele muntelui Greţeş, unde la altitudinea de 866 m există un mic izvor este desemnat de localnici ca izvorul râului - probabil din considerentul, că este uşor acessibil turiştilor - dar specialiştii precizează, că izvoarele adevărate sunt sus, la 1350 m altitudine pe versantul sud-vestic al Muntelui Negru în apropierea Vârfului Fagului, şi localnicii, pe primii câţiva km îl cunosc sub denumiri variate: pârâul Varului, pârâul Baci sau pârâul Forica, afluent al pârâului Mare, se varsă în acesta în apropierea staţiei de cale ferată.
"In iulie 2011 am petrecut cateva zile, cu familia, la Vila Szekely, in Izvorul Muresului. Toate notele pe care le-am cordat cu privire la serviciile oferite au fost de 10 si toate au fost justificate. Gazda a dat dovada de o ospitalitate deosebita, pe care numai maghiarii mi-au oferit-o in atat de multe locuri in care am fost cazat in Romania. Vila Szekely are tot ce ti-ai putea dori atunci cand esti in vacanta: intimitate, curatenie, toate dotarile necesare, pozitie avantajoasa, in liniste si totodata aflata aproape de centrul statiunii. Marosfő a Nagyhagymás (1793 m) déli előterében, a Fekete-Rez (1538 m) lábánál fekvő hegyvidéki település, üdülőfalu, amely a közelben eredő Maros forrásról kapta a nevét. A székely körvasút legmagasabb pontja az üdülőtelepen 850 m. A 12-es országúton Csíkszeredától 45 Gyergyószentmiklóstól pedig 23 km-re települt. A székely körvasúton (a brassó-dédai vasútvonalon) is megközelíthető (az "Izvorul Muresului" vasútállomás). Marosfő út menti település (útifalu), s egyben hegyvidéki üdülőtelep és ifjúsági táborhely. Alsó része az Alsó-Marosfő vagy Marosnyíre nevet viseli. Marosfő lakossága 1992-ben 801 fő volt, melyből magyar 471 fő, román 329. A vasútállomás a Vasút utcán közelíthető meg.
Az ereszkedőben levő Főút (12-es országút) mindvégig a Maros folyását követi, érintve a Tinkák utca és az Ölves utca elágazásait, majd a vasútvonal nagy kanyarában a Boták utca és a Marosnyír területét meghaladva átszeli a Maros vizét és a Papkert-rétje (Poiana Popii) területére fut be. A következő Maros-hídtól nyugatra a "După Lunca" nevezetű természetvédelmi terület ritka növényvilága tekinthető meg (leírását lásd Vaslábnál).
Marosfő névadása természetes, ugyanis itt, a Fekete-Rez (1538 m - Benkő Károly Marostőnek nevezi) oldalában ered a Maros. A népi vagy köztudat a falu belterületén, a műúttól jobbra, a Geréces-tető lábánál (Gerécesalja) eredő, 866 m magasságban levő kis forrást, vízeret tartja a Maros forrásának, míg a tudományos közlemények a Meszes-patak (vagy Tikmony-patak) forrásvidékét jelölik meg a Maros tulajdonképpeni forrásának, mintegy 1350 m magasságban, a Fekete-Rez délnyugati oldalában. A kis Maros esése alig 5 m kilométerenként, majd a Tinkák (itt már felülcsapó malmot is hajt) után, a Feketerez-patak és a Csíkmagosa-patak felvétele után mocsaras, égerfás síksági szakasza következik a Gyergyói lokon, lapályon, egészen Gyergyóremetéig. Kisebb patakokat vesz fel, mint az Öles-patak - és itt a Marosdereka nevet viseli - Méh-patak. A Maros folyó teljes hossza 803 km, melyből Romániában 768, Hargita megyében 80 km hosszúságban folyik.
A Maros név eredete: a Maros a kelta muor = láp és acha = folyó összevonásával kialakul moraha (lápi folyó) szónak átalakítása. A szász Miersch, Muresc, közelebb áll a Marachához, mint a helén Marosios - vélekedik Czirbusz Géza (Erdély. 1908. 147).
Marosfő a Maros és az Olt vízválasztóján, a Marosfői-hágónak nevezett Geréces-nyereg hátán települt (a vendégfogadó mellett a nyereg magassága 890 m). A Csíki- és a Gyergyói-medencét összekapcsoló küszöb (ez a marosfői vagy szentdomokosi küszöb) egyben a Gyergyói-havasok és a Hargita határát is jelöli, bár a küszöb Hargita felőli déli oldalán emelkedő a Geréces-tető (1126 m) még a kristályos vonulathoz tartozik, kristályos mészkő alkotja. A hargitai vulkánkúpok előfutáraként a Csík-magosa (1154 m) zárja a marosfői határt. A hegyi kaszálók virágos látványa kellemes sétára csábít, télen pedig síterepül kínálkozik a Geréces oldala. A vízválasztóra, a Marostetőre a 12-es országút mentén juthatunk fel, a Csókok Üvere-patak (a Mély-patak jobb oldali mellékága) mentén.
Ifjúsági fürdőtelep Ma az ország egyik legjelentősebb ifjúsági üdülőhelye. Több évtizedes fennállása óta turisztikai ellátmányai jelentősen gyarapodtak. A téli sportok gyakori színhelye a közeli Gerécesalja (Gréces) nevezetű domboldal. Sífelvonója van.
Marosfőn új római katolikus templom épült. A régi kápolna 1930-ban épült. A plébánia kertjében egy kis harangláb látható, melynek harangját Dr. Kurkó Alajos Olaszországból hozatta.
1999. november 14-én református kápolna ünnepélyes alapkőletételére került sor Marosfőn.
Ugyancsak Marosfőn egy ortodox templomot és kolostort avattak 1999-ben. (harghita.ro)
Izvorul Muresului is an alpine settlement situated in the southern foreground of the Hasmasu Mare (1,793 m), at the foot of the Muntele Negru (1,538 m). The resort got its name from the Mures springing in the nearby. The highest point of the Szekler circular railway is 850 m in the resort. Izvorul Muresului is 45 km far from Miercurea-Ciuc and 23 km from Gheorgheni along National Road 12. It can also be approached along the Szekler circular railway (along the Brasov-Deda line). The settlement is a road-village, alpine resort and youth campsite at the same time. In 1992, it had 801 inhabitants (471 Magyars, 329 Romanians). The railway station can be approached along the Railway street.
The inclining Main Road (National Road 12) follows the flow of the Mures, touching the branchings-off of the Tinca and Ölves streets, then in the great curve of the railway it crosses the river and reaches the Poiana Popii. To the west of the next Mures bridge, the rare plants of the "După Lunca" nature conservation area is to be found (see description at Voslobeni).
Izvorul Muresului ('Mures Riverhead') got its name from the River Mures springing here, in the side of the Muntele Negru (1,538 m). The total length of the river is 803 km, out of which 768 km flows in Romania, 80 km in Harghita county.
Izvorul Muresului is situated on the watershed of the Mures and the Olt, on the Izvorul Muresului Pass (its altitude next to the inn being 890 m). The 'treshold' connecting the Ciucului and the Giurgiului basins (the Izvorul Muresului or Sandominic sill) marks the border of the Giurgiului Mountains and of the Harghita at the same time, although the Geréces Peak (1,126 m) rising in the south also belongs to the chrystaline range, being made up by granular limestone. The Izvorul Muresului border is closed by the the Ciucului Peak (1,154 m), the 'forerunner' of the Harghitaian volcanic cones. The alpine grasslands full of flowers offer a pleasant view to the hikers and the Geréces mountainside a good ski-slope in the winter. We can reach the watershed along National Road 12.
Youth spa Today it is one of the most significant youth resort of the country. During the several decades of its existence, the touristic supplies have been grown significantly. The Geréces hillside is the scene of the winter sports. There is a ski-lift here as well.
A new Roman Catholic church has been built in Izvorul Muresului. Its old chapel dates back to 1930. There is a small belfry in the court of the parsonage.
On 14th November 1999 the building of a Reformed chapel was started in the settlement.
An Orthodox church and monastery were also inaugurated here in 1999. (harghita.ro)
